Learning how to fix a ps3 can be done fairly easily. The yellow light of death fix is probably one of the easies t or most widely known problems with a PS3.

To get started, you will want to make sure that you have already gone through the basic troubleshooting procedures that most sites explain.

First, you’ll want to check that all cables are tight and secure. Then restart you PS3.

If that doesn’t work, you will want to unplug the power and open the ps3 case and check the harddrive connections. Sometimes the harddrive cables can become unplugged from movement or jostling of the ps3. Once you have attempted each of those steps without success you will want to move on to the more advance (yet easy) fixes.
